  1. What was your favorite love song as a teenager in high school? What is the world’s worst love song?
  2. What are common distortions of love in our culture today?
  3. How does Paul present the necessity of love in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3? Contrast love with other spiritual powers.
  4. Review the 15 actions of love in verses 4-7. Which are the most important ones to you in how you receive love? Which are the most challenging to you personally to grow in giving love?
  5. Take a few of the love-actions and share how they could practically be lived out in a marriage, a family and a small group.
  6. Which action of love do you most want to grow in? How would it look in your life to grow in that dimension of love?
  7. In what specific way is love greater than other spiritual powers according to verses 8-13? What makes love the greatest power of all?
