  1. What are some of the most common examples of materialism that you see in our culture? In our community? Where do you tend to spend money that you don’t really need to?
  2. Have you or anyone you know been in a dispute over money (or possessions) in an inheritance? What happened?
  3. What is greed? What are symptoms of greed in our lives?
  4. How can we be on guard against greed?
  5. Why do you think the “rich man” was a “fool”? What did he do wrong?
  6. What truths does Jesus communicate in this parable
  7. How can we avoid storing up stuff for ourselves?
  8. How can we be “rich” for God?
