  1. What are some of the worst examples of pride you have seen? How have you seen pride in your own life? Have you ever said anything like verse 30?
  2. Are you willing to share your story of how God has worked in your life even if you look pretty foolish in the story? Why or why not?
  3. Have you ever sensed God trying to get your attention, convict you or draw you to himself, even by using a dream? Share your stories. Did you respond?
  4. Have you ever warned or given advice to someone that needed to “renounce” their sin and turn to God? How did it go?
  5. Has anything happened in your life that God used to humble you and get you to acknowledge that he rules? What happened?
  6. Parallel to Nebuchadnezzar, have you ever had a conversion experience where you turned from sin to acknowledge the truth and bigness of God?
  7. Today, how can you renounce prideful sin and acknowledge the big God who rules all kingdoms and humbles the proud?
