God loves the whole world

God created the world (Genesis 1:1)

God sent his Son for the world (John 3:16)

God sends us to bring his love to the whole world

God sent his people to bless the earth (Genesis 12:3)

God sends us to all nations (Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8)

God asks us to support global workers

The believers supported Paul and Timothy (1 Corinthians 16:5-11)

Supporting global workers pleases God (Philippians 4:10-20)


Group Discussion Questions

  1. Who do you know from another ethnicity or language who lives near you or works with you? From what different nations and ethnicities do you have friends?
  2. How do we know God loves the world? What is the extent of his love? (John 3:16)
  3. How much do you care about people who live far away from you in other countries?
  4. What responsibility has God given us for people in other nations? (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
  5. Have you ever financially supported a global worker? What was the impact of doing so in your life?
  6. From the Bible how do we know that we should support global workers? (1 Corinthians 16:5-10; Philippians 4:10-19)
  7. Have you ever gone on a mission trip? What was your experience? Would you consider going (or going again)? Why or why not?


Family Discussion Questions

  1. Do you have any friends in your classroom or neighborhood who are from another country? Where are they from? What’s the same about them and what’s different about them compared to you?
  2. Activity: On a map or a globe see if you can find the countries where your friends are from.
  3. How do think God feels about all the people he created? How do you know that (John 3:16)?
  4. Will all the people in our world today and in the future be in heaven with God one day? How will they get there?
  5. What is a missionary and what do they do (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)? Do you have to travel to a far away country to be a missionary? Can you be a missionary in the places God sends you?
  6. How can you support the missionaries and global workers who are part of Christ Fellowship?
  7. How does it please God to share our financial gifts with those who are doing his work (Philippians 4:14-20)?
