  2. What is the aim of your life? What do you most desire for your life?
  3. On the path to Christlike maturity, where would you place yourself and why? Exploring, starting, growing or maturing?
  4. In your spiritual growth progress, which of these obstacles do you struggle with most: denial, “I’m not that bad;” fatalism, “that’s just who I am;” blaming, “it’s not my fault” or passivity, “I don’t want to deal with it?”
  5. What is God’s role in our progress to spiritual maturity? What is our role? See Philippians 2:12-13 and 1 Corinthians 15:10.
  6. In pursuing spiritual maturity, what are differences between trying harder and training wisely? 1 Timothy 4:7-10. Why does just trying harder not work?
