Live by Design, Sept. 10-16

Outline

“There must be 50 ways to disobey your parents”

“There must be 50 ways to exasperate your children.”

Children:

  • obey your parents.
  • …in the Lord.
  • …for this is right.
  • honor your father and mother.
  • …which is the first commandment with a promise

Fathers:

  • …do not provoke your children to anger.
  • …bring them up in the discipline of the Lord.
  • …bring them up in the instruction of the Lord.

The Big Idea:  Parenting and “child-ing” in God’s ways…puts Jesus at the center!
